Ms. Hawley joined Cogent HMG in 1999 and currently serves as the company’s Senior Vice President as well as Senior Consultant for Cogent HMG’s consulting arm, The Cogent Group. She has developed and implemented more than 50 hospital medicine programs nationally. Her depth of knowledge in hospital medicine practice management is unparalleled. Ms. Hawley has presented to the Florida Case Management Association, the World Research Group, and HCPro and is an instructor at Cogent HMG Academy on all aspects of hospital medicine practice management processes.

She holds a BS from Drexel University, an MBA from Eastern University, and a Certificate in Occupational Therapy from the University of Pennsylvania. She received a certificate of achievement as a Green Belt in Six Sigma from Villanova University. Ms. Hawley serves on the SHM Practice Analysis Committee. She is also a member of MGMA and a Fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).
