Cheryl Slack

Chief Administrative Officer/Senior Vice President, Human Resources

Ms. Slack serves as Cogent HMG's Chief Administrative Officer as well as the Senior Vice President for Human Resources. Ms. Slack joined Cogent HMG in a unique way. She had been working as an independent consultant with a business in Brentwood, Tenn., and Cogent HMG was one of their clients.

Previously, Ms. Slack was Chief Human Resources Officer for an England-based international organization. In that role, she oversaw the HR resources for this international company’s offices in 20 countries. She spent much of her time traveling, developing policies, programs and processes that would meet the needs for each of the very diverse locations.

Ms. Slack earned a BS in Business Management from West Virginia Institute of Technology in Montgomery (a satellite campus of West Virginia University). She has completed continued executive education courses from several universities, including Kellogg School of Business, London Business School and Harvard University.
