Julia S. Wright, MD

Dr. Wright has been part of the Cogent HMG team since 2010, and oversees our programs in the north central region of the country.  Dr. Wright was part of Hospitalist Management Group, prior to the Cogent HMG merge, serving as the Senior Medical Officer.

Before joining the Hospitalist Management Group, she served as the Chief of Hospital Medicine at the University of Wisconsin.  Additionally, Dr. Wright served as the Director of Hospital Medicine at UW Health Regional.  Dr. Wright worked in a private internal medicine practice in Madison, WI for ten years prior to her hospital medicine career.

Dr. Wright completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Wisconsin after completing her medical degree at the University of Michigan. Dr. Wright is a Fellow in Hospitalist Medicine and a member of the American Medical Association and American College of Physician Executives.
