Martin Eltrich, III

Martin Eltrich joined AEA in 2001 and leads the consumer/retail investment practice. He currently serves on the board of directors of Henry, Cogent HMG, Shoes for Crews and Garden Ridge. Prior to AEA's exit from the investment, Eltrich also sat on the boards of Acosta, Li & Fung Distribution Ltd., Burt’s Bees and Tampico Beverages, Intermedia Advertising Group and Sutton Place Gourmet.

Before joining AEA, Eltrich was an investment banker covering the consumer products industry at Greenhill & Co. in New York, joining that firm at its inception in 1996. While at Greenhill, Eltrich helped facilitate more than a dozen merger and acquisition transactions with more than $40 billion of transaction value, including Pillsbury's sale to General Mills and Nestlé's acquisition of Ralston Purina. Earlier, Eltrich was a member of the consumer products group at Morgan Stanley. 

Eltrich received a B.S. in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.  He lives with his family in Bedford, New York.
