Michael Friedlander, MD

Dr. Friedlander has been part of the Cogent HMG team since 2011, and oversees our programs in the western region of the country.

Dr. Friedlander worked in a private internal medicine practice in Sacramento, CA for nine years before relocating to Ann Arbor Michigan in 1998. There, he started a new hospitalist program which grew to 16 physicians covering 3 community hospitals over 7 years. The practice was later integrated into a large medical group, which Dr. Friedlander oversaw for the next five years.

Dr. Friedlander completed his internal medicine training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. In 2000 he completed his master's degree in Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan.   Dr. Friedlander is a Fellow in Hospitalist Medicine.
