Todd R. Charest, MBA

Mr. Charest leads Cogent HMG's Information Technology and Product Management Teams with over 17 years of healthcare experience. Todd joined Cogent HMG n 2008 to head up the Product Management team responsible for implementing new service lines, new business, and major corporate technology initiatives. Todd has since assumed responsibilities for all the Cogent HMG's technology and infrastructure.

Prior to joining Cogent HMG, Todd was VP of Product Management for Spheris, a leading technology and service delivery provider in the healthcare documentation space, prior to the acquisition by MedQuist. In that role, Todd supported the organizations growth from 100 million to over 200 million in revenue. Todd also held leadership positions at Dynamic Healthcare Technologies, purchased by Cerner Corporation in 2000.

Active in HIMSS, Todd is a former board member of the Central Florida chapter and currently serves as a Board Member of the Tennessee chapter of HIMSS. Throughout his career, he has been published in numerous industry publications. He holds an undergraduate degree in finance and a graduate degree in business administration (MBA) from the University of Central Florida.
