Thomas J. Pryma

Tom Pryma joined AEA in 1999 and focuses on investments in the value-added industrial and services sectors. He co-led AEA's investments in Pregis Corporation, Unifrax Corporation, Houghton International, Hospitalist Management, LLC (now Cogent HMG), and RelaDyne Inc. and currently serves on the boards of each of these companies. He also co-led AEA's investments in North China German Automotive, Kranson Industries and B.I. Incorporated.

Early in his career with AEA, Mr. Pryma was one of the first members of the London office where he was involved in establishing the office, developing its investment strategy, marketing the firm, and sourcing and evaluating a variety of investment opportunities. Before joining AEA, Pryma was with the investment banking division of Merrill Lynch, where he focused on advising a broad range of private equity investment firms. As part of what was at the time the leading financial sponsor coverage practice on Wall Street, Pryma worked with many large-cap and middle-market firms on all aspects of their investment activities.

Pryma received a B.A. in Finance and Accounting with a minor in Math, with Honors, from Georgetown University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
