Cogent HMG takes the time to collaborate with our hospital partners on the correct staffing models to optimize delivery of care, physician satisfaction, and recruitment in your particular marketplace. Our process includes an 18 plus person department dedicated exclusively to sourcing, recruiting, contracting, credentialing, training, scheduling and retention of physicians and administrative staff. We call this the "Physician Supply Chain."
Cogent HMG believes the program components that result in a successful hospitalist and intensivist program include:
- Recruiting and retaining customer service oriented staff hospitalists and/or intensivists
- Measuring their success through a comprehensive Quality Management and Performance Improvement program
- Comprehensive on-boarding activities to promote medical staff awareness and successful integration of the hospitalist and/or intensivist service
- Providing the physicians with comprehensive support and training
